Hi All,
A need to "downsize" (read 'need money') my equipment somewhat. As I
rarely get on HF anymore, the FT-2000 is my best option.
This one is a 6L Serial Number series and I purchased it new in Aug,
2007 (the 6L series has that second internal cooling fan that was
dropped in later versions). It has never given me a problem and has had
very light use (probably averaging less than an hour a week the past
couple years or so).
I'm a Non-Smoker and I'd rate it's appearance at least a 9.8 (if I rated
it a '10' and you found a single small nick, which I can't find any,
you'd sue me).
It's had several firmware updates, but is a couple behind as my latest
computers have no serial ports, and I haven't bought an adapter.
Here's what's included with the rig.
1. Factory boxes (plus an additional heavy duty outer shipping box),
Factory manual, unused hand microphone, connector package etc.
2. A like new Yaesu MD100AX desk microphone (kept covered when not in use).
3. A small switchbox I built to facilitate Firmware updates, also has a
pushbutton "Tune" switch that plugs into the rear panel "TX Req" jack to
produce a "tuning carrier". Very handy as I use an MFJ 993B auto tuner
to match the 88' ladderline fed dipole. So, the internal tuner has seen
almost no use.
4. A straight through serial cable (9 pin to 9 pin) to connect to your
computer for CAT control or firmware updates.
NOTE: I may take a like new Icom IC-718, Yaesu FT-450 OR SIMILAR
transceiver as partial trade, the reason I'm not selling my MFJ Auto-tuner.
NOTE: WILL ONLY ship to the lower 48. Asking $1700.00 dollars PLUS
whatever insured UPS shipping of a large box weighing ~50 pounds to your
QTH would cost. (WILL be well packed). The used value of an Icom
IC-718, or similar, if swapped will naturally be deducted. For your
calculations, my zip code is 95348.
POSTAL MONEY ORDER OR CERTIFIED CASHIER'S CHECK ONLY. . .
