[Yaesu] atas 25 antenna question

Hi ... question re the ATAS 25 antenna

The outer adjustable upper tuning sleeve is now loose... the upper adjustable sleeve will not stay in place.

I took the antenna apart. I removed the rubber piece that covers the connection between the plastic handle and aluminum sleeve. I removed the three screws and then removed the inner aluminium ring that is held by these screws.  The ring has two brass u shaped pieces that are screwed in the middle. Allowing each end to act like a leaf spring holding into place a small ball bearing? It looks like they would hold small ball bearings, 4 of them to be exact.   It appears that the bearings hold the upper sleeve in place on the base coil.  They would move back and fourth when the outer sleeve is moved up and down. Travelling on the ridges of the coil.  Im assuming these bearings would make the electrical contact between the base coil unit and the upper moveable sleeve... 
 
Well. If that is the case, Im missing those bearings.. 
 
Anyone have a part pictorial of the antenna other than the manual that I downloaded off line so Ic an confirm this ?   There is not much for this antenna on line.   

Looking at it and comparing the similar ATAS 120.... i don't think anything is missing respectively.

Am I on the right path on what holds the sleeve in place on the coil ?   Or am I missing something else?
