[Yaesu] Fed Ex and Yaesu repair

It was ground 
I know there are horror stories about UPS and USPS but they aren't the ones trying to screw me right now. 
If it comes down to it I'll start buying Ten Tec only and drive the hour and a half to Sevierville to get one fixed myself. I'm not real happy with Yaesu either.

Hello Ed,
   Quick question.  You might have provided this info earlier, but was this a Fedex Ground or Fedex Air shipment?

I finally got a letter from Yaesu stating my FT-1000 was damaged when it arrived. I have had to procure a lawyer as Fed Ex has denied my claim twice. My lawyer has written them a letter with a copy of Yaesu's letter enclosed. I will never ever use Fed Ex for anything again.
