[Yaesu] FT 2600M

I need to replace the microphone for my 2600M, unless anyone has any 
other ideas,

Last week, I was going to talk to a friend of mine on my 2600m, and 
when I keyed the mic the radio went dead, and when it came back up 
when i released the key, the radio was reset to factory specs... must 
have a bad mic

Radio works fine and i have reset some repeater freqs but i have 
removed that mic from the radio....

Does this sound like a bad mic or radio problem ?

i guess ill look for a MH-42B6J or MH-36B6J

Anyone have a good suggestion where to order a new mic from besides YAESU???
