[Yaesu] opinions needed

I have decided to give up my Icom 706Mark2G due to the issue 
with the finals. I was wondering what does everyone think 
about new vs old radios for reliability and repair? I need 
to get something to replace the 706 but not sure which way 
to go now. Another "all in one" radio or a couple separate 
radios for HF/6 and VHF/UHF? I know Yaesu makes a few "all 
in one" radios and was wondering what you all thought of them?
Any thoughts, opinions, insights would be greatly appreciated.
