[Yaesu] FT 1000MP

Anyone out there have an external keyer such as Mfj Grandmaster or MFJ 492 memory keyer? When I plug in to either port rear or front, I get a solid tone. A regular key works fine with internal keyer, but I want to use the contet keyer with it. It has a menu for External keyer that Yaesu makes, but I dont have that one. Just hoping some other ham has a mfj keyer using withthe 1000MP
