[Yaesu] re noisy tuning encoder, and microphone rx audio on FT-1000D

       I just acquired an FT-1000D and was checking it out this evening. It has a fair amount of noise when tuning either the main receiver encoder or the sub receiver encoder. Also, both receivers have microphonic receive audio especially when using the internal speaker and appears to be worst on the AM mode although it is present on ssb mode as well.
     Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. The radio is a 1993 production.
