[Yaesu] Operation question: Yaesu FT60R

I have a FT-60R that I purchased 3 years ago.  I have not used it much.
I cannot find the instruction manual.

Somehow I must have recently pushed a wrong key as when I now release
the xmt button, it gives a tone at the end of the xmission.  

I do not see intuitively how to defeat the tone.  Anyone familiar with
the function and can advise how to turn it off?
