[Yaesu] Plasma TV interference??

Before I bought my new TV, I took a battery operated SW receiver into the
store. I walked down the row and made note of which ones caused it to
squeal - then picked between the ones that didn't for the best picture/price
ratio. Salesman was really irked that two of his "best value" (read more
expensive but had fantastic features) were not even under consideration -
until I showed him the radio and explained the TVs effects on it.

Interestingly, the worst offenders were a Sanyo and a Sony Plasma, followed
by a Sanyo LCD and an LG LCD.

I bought a Phillips LCD.

John....

Have a plasma TV here which is on most times when I'm operating(XYL!). My
radio room is directly below the TV room and I suffer NO interference on any
band at all (nor do I cause any interference to the TV...we're on cable).
The same holds true for both my radios, my FT-100D and Knwd. TS-950SDX.

7 3 (dah dah di-di-dit di-di-di-dah dah) noooooooooooo di-di-dit at the
end!!!! This from an ol' CW op. and instructor!
