For Sale:

A good condition and excellent functioning FT-2400H 50w 2m mobile.  Comes with a new mounting bracket and screws, and a power cord, NO MIC.  I never got one for it as i bought it used for APRS use.  I installed a new memory backup battery, new backlight bulbs, and checked power output and everything is good to go.  Makes the full 50w compared to some this vintage.  It's clean and not beat up, light wear on it from use. The little door over the buttons is loose as they always are on this model and doesn't always stay closed but its an easy fix with a small bit of tape or something if it bothers you.  The plastic catch just wears out on them from use.

Not modified for out of band use, but that can be done if you need it, i don't.  One small modification was done internally, the discriminator audio to the mic jack was replaced with a high going COR, roughly 5v on receive, i was using this connection for channel activity to an Opentracker. Easily reversed back if not needed, won't affect it's use with a mic plugged in as the mic doesn't use that pin.

I might be able to dig around and find some spare mic to wire up for it but don't bank on it, i haven't checked the junk box yet.  Mic's for this model are easy to come by anyway, you can use just about any Yaesu RJ-45 8 pin modular mic on them.
