I'm not an expert, but I have managed to modify my old Timex Sincliar 1000
with nearly a gigabyte of storage, antivirus software and a firewall to
protect it from most any other harm.  It's also totally locked-down from all
problems it could possibly encounter on the internet via it's external 56K
modem.
