  Are you trying to send a single DTMF digit? Or just to send a few numbers thru
the keypad? Hold down the PTT with your left thumb (to help brace the radio) then
just push a number. If you want to send a string of numbers, as long as you do not
delay more than (trying to remember) either 1/2 or 1 second, you can release the
PTT and you can transmit the string just by pushing the number buttons.

  Can't seem to find my old manual - Can anyone tell me how to remove any or all digits from the dtmf memory channels ( with out doing a full reset ) I want to send
  a command via dtmf and all I can do is send a dtmf string - Or is there a way to turn off the memories so I can simply send DTMF from the keyboard? Thanks & 73
