[Yaesu] FT450 audio out on digital modes

I recently got my Yaesu FT450 hooked up to the computer to run RTTY/PSK/WSJT and a few other digital modes. I won't go into the lack of a narrow filter on the digital modes (did create a problem in the RTTY roundup last weekend) but I have found that the receive audio out from the data jack seems pretty low. I have it going into the computer thru the mic jack and with the slider set to full for mic on the soundcard, it is just enough audio for RTTY and PSK and still too low for Hellschreiber and WSJT.
Is there a way to increase the received audio level thru the rig? I haven't found it in the menus yet but then I could be missing something. Or is the received audio more than enough and the problem is with my soundcard?
