[Yaesu] Transceivers for sale

It may not be that simple as to turn off the alarm system.
My AT&T System 8000 alarm system used to send a silent panic alarm when I
was on 20 meters and below even at 100 watts output. The police would show
up at the door and there was no notice from the alarm system that anything
had happened, just as it was designed to do.
The solution was to add .001 or .01 mfd bypass caps to each communicator
lead from the alarm module. Each of the caps was then tied to ground and
that ended the problem. Reed relays in series with the communicator input
leads was another solution that would work but I didn't have to use.
It was easy to see the problem on those leads when looked at with a scope
and I was glad the caps worked.
YMMV but is sure worked for me.

Why not turn off your alarm?
