Hmm, what does this statement (on Ardent's website) mean?:

"You should check that the connections match your particular radio.
Connections used only for cloning or programming are usually NOT present in
these cables."

Does that mean THESE cables do not include all four contacts?  Is it
something other than a plain plug & cable?  (Like a resistor/capacitor to
separate the PTT and Mic, and no connection to the 4th contact?)
