[Yaesu] ft1kmp dead

Why not give Yaesu repair a call?  It has been a number of years since I
sent my FT 1000-D. for repair but as I recall, it was simply a matter of
sending it in with a letter explaining what the problems were.  I'm sure the
folks at the repair center will give you any necessary information.
