Gentlemen: I would appreciate a little advice from anyone who has had
experience with the FT950, I am thinking about buying this radio for
myself for Christmas. I have used FT100D's for years and believe them
to be the best radio Yaesu ever came out with in the price range us
poor retired folks can afford. I operate mostly CW and the rest is on
six meters so these two modes are of prime imortance. I love an
adjustable noise blanker that is in the RF stages and not in the IF
because it is so much more effective. How is the NB in the 950?
Also how are the CW Bandwidth DSP adjustments? IE; Skirt
adjustments at 3 dB down and 6 dB down? Boy, enough said!
If anyone wishes to contact me off the reflector, my e mail is
snatw5zf at hotmail.com. All opinions are very welcome.
