AFAIK that had nothing to do with it.  The publisher decided to retire, and
sold his subscription base to CQ rather than letting it die off.

I know the editor, Nancy Kott, and have not heard anything from her.  Maybe
she will remain in that position and just publish to the web.  Will try to
find out and get back with the news.
