[Yaesu] Yaesu VX8R

Did anyone get to see the VX8R at Dayton?  If so, here are a couple of questions I have about it:

1. Does it have a built in bar antenna for AM/SW broadcasts, like the VX3R does?

2. Is the FM broadcast band receiver as bad as the one on the VX3R is (and it is pretty bad)?

Too bad about the appearance of it-Yaesu seems to be moving in the wrong direction with their HT designs.  The VX3R was uglier than the VX2R and this VX8 is definitely uglier than the VX6R and VX7R.  At least they got it right with the FT450.  That is a nice looking radio, especially when it is compared to its competitor, the butt ugly Icom 7200.
