I have just been given a YAESU FT-757GXII and an FC-757AT from a deceased HAM's estate.

Cleaned up the rig and applied 13.8 volts and nothing....zip....dead!!! External fuse seems like the only protection. Don't have a schematic, just the manuals. Anyone have experience with this early Yaesu Solid State Transceiver??? I don't know whether the rig is worth putting too much effort into it.

Any thoughts from users or previous users of the FT-757GXII???
