[Yaesu] 857 question

Well, I THINK I blew the 6m front end of my 857D...since the NB does not
work on FM (and why it doesn't is a mystery since the NB is inline..just
switched off!), I reinstalled my Midland SyntechII on 6m in the company
van..both radios were on Larsen NMO150s about 3 ft apart....and I accidently
had the 857 on when I was testing the Midland...trying on a 6m rptr, the
Midland hears it FULL Quiet...the 857? Nada.....it CAN hear but its
deaf...anyone ever have this happen and is it an easy fix (With SMD parts, I
DOUBT it!)??? Is it a diode or FET that went? I plan to dig into it tomorrow
with the R2670 but wanted to see if anyone else had this happen to them and
whats the best course of repair?
(I hate replacing SMDs btw..)
