[Yaesu] For Sale: Yaesu FT-1000D SN 9Lxxxxxx

I have a very nice Yaesu FT-1000(D) transceiver that is available. The 
radio is in excellent condition and stock with no mods or additional 
filters other than those supplied originally. The Serial Number is 
9L65xxxx and the ROM version is 6.0.   I have the original manual and 
power cable to go with the radio. Cosmetics: Front panel is "pristine" 
except for fingerprints; there is a 1/2" scratch on the top cover at 
the left rear; there are two very small rubs, 1/8 inch each, on the top 
cover left side near the front cabinet screw; there are some scratches 
and rubs on the bottom cover that are probably the result of moving the 
radio around in the shack.

I am the second owner. The original owner purchased it new from AES in 
Cleveland in late 1999. I bought it from him in December of 2007. I 
drove to Cleveland to pick it up as the original boxes were not 
available and I didn't want to chance any shipping damage.  Both owners 
are non smokers.   I bought the rig to replace my older FT-1000(D) that 
suffered an internal failure (Fan and Finals plus related damage) and 
was said to be un-repairable by Yaesu in California. However, I was 
referred to Byron Campbell WA4GEG (www.hamradiobug.com) down in 
Tennessee as a repair source and thankfully, he was able to put it back 
together.  With the return of my radio, FT-1000D SN 9L65xxxx is no 
longer needed.  I'm asking $1975 + UPS or pick the radio up in Fort 
Wayne, IN.
