[Yaesu] FT450 vs FT100D and bandwidth settings

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for the information and 1 more question for you
and list members, if possible.

When running split frequency operation (like in a DX
pileup) can you put the VFOs on different bandwidths?
Say I am listening to the DX station on VFO A and I
set it for 500hz bandwidth. I am using VFO B for
transmitting, but want to tune around to find the last
station he worked. Can I set this VFO for 1.8khz
bandwidth, or will it stay at 500hz also? I had a
TS2000 which also has IF-DSP and it always had both
VFOs set to the same bandwidth.
