WA4GEG Byron Campbell in Tennessee only works on FT-1000 radios and
other rigs in the same class. He has outstanding service, fair prices
and is meticulous in what he does. My 1995 vintage FT-1000D was
pronounced unrepairable by Yaesu, primarily due to parts no longer
available. Byron repaired the radio at a reasonable cost and I have
been very happy with it's performance since it returned home ... I have
no commercial interest in Mr. Campbell's business, I'm just a very
happy customer. Look at e-Ham.net for more positive feedback on
Byron's service and quality

Hal at Land Air Communications (www.landaircomm.com)
has an excellent reputation, as does Mike, N1EQ
(www.n1eq.com). Hal understands that we love our rigs
and really miss them when they are gone, so he has a
turn around time of a couple of days
