[Yaesu] FT-757GXII aligment question

I bought a tech supplement copy for a GXII you-know-where (e-something)
and got it only to discover that the cover was for a GXII but all else
was for a plain GX (I have both so that was really ok).

I am doing the alignment of the LOs and find that the layout of the GXII
local board is different from the GX when you do the alignment on the
2nd LO. There does not seem to be a trimpot near the CPU for the
adjustment at 13.9999MHz, only the adjustment for 14.0000MHz. On the GX
the 2nd LO frequency is specified to be a 990Hz difference between
14.0000MHz (the first adjustment) and 13.9999MHz (the second
adjustment)...is this second adjustment eliminated on the GXII?

Also, is there an off-the-shelf memory battery available for the GX and
GXII...the batteries in both my rigs are no good. I don't see a voltage
value listed in the tech supplement.

Thanks,

Jack, W6NF
