[Yaesu] FT-950 VS TS-2000

I'm in the market for a base unit rig for serious rag chewing and running 
the odd net on 40/80M.
I see that both of these rigs are in the same $$$ bracket [FT-950/TS-2000].
My question is which one of the two rigs is better suited for this? 
Especially the RX side. Being that I live in a city with a lot of noise from 
time to time.

P.S. And yes... I have read the eham reviews on both of these rigs as well 
as the manuals. But nothing beats getting it from the horses mouth. HI HI.
