I recently sold my Icom 756 Pro III, and replaced it with a Yaesu 990. In my humble, or perhaps not, opinion, the Yaesu 990 is a really good rig. I also had a Yaesu 1000 MP, and seems to me the 990 hears better and at a MUCH more reasonable price. Dave, AL7HG P.S. I have a narrow SSB filter sitting here, but have not had the time to install it.
