[Yaesu] Yaesu FT990 opinions wanted

I own a 990 from new, the 990 has been a flawless performer, easy to use 
and service( fixed a 3 others for friends swaping boards narrows problem 
fast and easy) , loaned the mic never got it back.......990 does have 
some overload issues (from neighbor who is one block away, running full 
limits) while on the same band, however in its present location in the 
mountains at moms place no longer a problem with my neighbor. nice quiet 
receive, good cw rig, do add the inrad filters they are better than the 
yaesu ones. noise blanker good, nice vfo/split operations. memories are 
handy..... TCXO not need. has all the features one really needs (without 
those awful the hidden menus). tuner works well.
in short  Great Rig!! I love mine.
