Hi Stan....

Welcome to the group and to being a new owner of one of the greatest
little radios to have hit the market. Unfortunately, as you probably know,
the radio was discontinued and it appears that a lot of accessories also
have gone the way of the dodo. However, this is not necessarily so. I've
found that many retailers still have accessories which work with the FT-100D
and some other Yaesu radios, but in the descriptions of the accessories,
there is no longer any mention that they work with the FT-100(D). Sort of
sounds like a conspiracy, doesn't it?
Anyway, I've had my FT-100(D) for 3-4 years now, purchased new, and have
not had a bit of trouble with it. Of course, I don't abuse it either. You
will probably receive numerous 'suggestions' as to modifying the radio. I
suggest, unless you have real, not could have, problems, you ignore all
these 'mods' suggestions.
As to the ATAS100 antenna, I don't have one and can't really help there
with its value. I do know that it was superseded by the ATAS120 and the new
price of those is in the $400 range. So you can base your selling price
accordingly.

Take care, and have fun with one of the world's greatest wonders!
Darrell,
