Hello John
And others on the Yaesu reflector. After using the FT-767GX for a week
if it wasn't Yaesu's top of the line it should have been when it was
introduced in '86. That old 767GX really is a great rig mine has a very
nice quiet receiver and I get really get great reports on SSB for audio.
I think it superseded the FT-980 and way outclassed the FT-One then
called the top of the line. I think the FT-One was manufacteured till
the FT-1000D was introduced in '89. That then we all know was Yaesu's
top rig for many years. Contesters still revere this radio. I hope that
answers some questions on that Great old FT-767GX. I have 2 IC-751A's in
my shack so I know what a great radio is.
