[Yaesu] First rig with tuner

Maybe someone on the list can answer a question for me.  I was on the Yahoogroups.com page looking for Yaesu groups today, and found one for the FT767.  The homepage for the list said that it was the first amateur rig with a built in autotuner.  Is that correct?  I didn't think it was, I though the first rig with a built in autotuner was the Kenwood TS930SAT.

Can anyone clear this up for me?  And what is the FT767 like?  One of my friends just picked one up.
