[Yaesu] spam messages...

There will probably not be an individual to "... realize not receiving
e-mails..." because this kind of crap ios being generated by automated spam
mail generators - by the millions - and only when one "validates" does it
flag an a$$whole in their 'tank' that here is a live one! The best is for
the moderator to block that particular subscriber... unfortunately, it may
be coming from a legit subscriber that has had his/her computer "hijacked"
by a spam machine and the unsuspecting subscriber is sending 'stuff' out by
the millions! Unfortunately, so many people do not have hardware and
software firewalls along with other methods of protection in their machine.
This, of course, is what the mega spammers are looking for!
If you have been watching the news, they just arrested one of world's top 10
spammers and he is now incarcerated (this happened in the last 36 hours & he
reputedly was directly responsible for approximately 100 million spam e-mail
messages going out per each 24 hr. period). The news is reporting that we
should see a dramatic decrease in spam... what they did NOT tell us is that
the machines that have already been 'hijacked' will continue to send the
garbage for quite some time yet and the lists that he generated and sold to
smaller spammers will continue to be used.

Yup, I just got a request to "validate" myself. Gonna ignore it. Sooner or
later, whomever that is may realize they're not receiving e-mails from this
reflector but my guess is, they won't, because our traffic isn't all that
high to begin with.
If we have an active moderator, he/she should kick that subscriber out.
