[Yaesu] vl1000

I picked up a vl-1000 quadra amp (no power supply). I
powered it up with my quadra ps. It powers on, all
self test functions light up "OK". Fans come on tuner
seems to work. It will not change bands and the power
in  is the same power out. 60 in gets 60 out! It is
clean as a whistle inside. No obvious smoked
components. I did a reset with the same result!.......
Anyone have any ideas before I ship it to Yaesu?
