I have a fairly old FT-1000D, original owner etc, and I am hearing "hash" and also a strange sounding signal with the display on bright, if I dim the display it goes away or at least under the receiver noise level. Any ideas of where to look, would assume something has failed or starting to fail. thanks 73 Merv K9FD/KH6
