If all Yaesu makes is ham gear, 713 is huge by ham radio standards.  In 
fact they must make other products because the ham market alone even 
world wide could not sustain that payroll.   Ten Tec has no more than 
50 employees and they are in other sectors of the electronics industry. 
   And for ham radio, 50 is big.  Most of your little ham businesses 
with 1 inch ads in QST are mom and pop operations.
the ham market and all the little businesses that have come and gone 
over the years involves some great stories.
