[Yaesu] Quiet wireless routers?

Hello John & Jim,
Yes, my router is only a few feet from where my open-wire feeders come
in to the shack and it's quiet. I didn't go back to Linksys for a
wall wart, just used one of the few dozen I had around here. Many new
wall warts are switchers anymore and they're noisy. Alternatively,
you could use a good quiet regulated 12 volt that you might be using
for radios or accessories in the shack.
Dennis

John,

I agree with Dennis assessment. I don't think the router is the problem. I
have Linksys WRTS54GS Wireless G with Speed Booster and do not have any
noise with it. I have had it about 3 years and it sits on the desk right
above the radio's. The wall wart is plugged into the same power source as
all my radio equipment.

I would take the unit back and make them give you a new power adapter.
