[Yaesu] VL-1000 Quadra

Need some help gents ... suddenly my VL-1000 stopped tuning any antenna 
on the outputs ... I get an immediate ERROR when I hit the tune button. 
  Also get an imtermittant Hi SWP error "SWR >3:1" and once in a while I 
see an excessive DC error when the amp starts ... this is almost always 
on 80 or 160 meters.  Trying the tuner into a dummy load also gets the 
ERROR failure but I don't see any of the other issues ... especiallly 
the excessive DC error when I transmai into the dummy load.

We've had a ton of rain and ice over the past few days but I'm not sure 
that would cause the issues I am seeing ... the Windom is still up in 
the air so it's not a downed antenna ...

anyone else experienced this with a Quadra?
