[Yaesu] Problems with FT1000MP Mk-V

Folks,

I have a Mk V here that is rather poorly, well two faults. First is a 
lack of power, about 15 watts max on 14Mhz, less on most other bands. 
Apparently this 'failure' occurred when the transmitter was operating in 
Class A. Is this a known failure, any ideas where to look first?

Second problem is memory loss. Set powers up at 7.00000 with all options 
etc cleared. Battery replaced but problem persists. Again, any info or 
knowledge on this issue?
