Mine is a regular BX, not the HD or otherwise, so I have a number one section on top. I was talking to someone else about using a longer mast and putting the rotor in the second section instead, but that's more than I want to mess with. That requires a section two rotor plate, about $60, and a lot of mast that I can't get locally, along with cutting out one of the cross braces to get the rotor in, etc.. It's been hard enough locating at least an 8ft mast to put on the top section, to put the rotor down one section I would need at least 20ft of pipe to give me enough out of the top for the antennas.

I think I will just leave the top section of the tower down until I get the rotor, then I will make it work!

Oh, and just in case anyone was wondering, no big HF beams here, just some VHF/UHF beams and a 6m beam that isn't that big nor heavy.
