[Yaesu] re InRad roofing filer for FT-1000D

    I just installed the roofing filter kit made by InRad in my FT-1000D 
and find that it is a great improvement to my transceiver. I had not 
done the noise blankers mods to it yet but with the roofing filter 
installed, it looks that I will not have to do it.  For $165 plus 
postage, that's got to be your best investment in a great older radio 
but now brings it right up there with the latest.
