I agree that the FTDx560 (I think there was also a 570) was a very good tube
rig.  The FT200 (known as the Tempo One) was also good.   I ran the jackson,
MS hamfest in 1971 or 2 and we gave away a Tempo One
station.  Good on CW as the winner was heavy into NTS traffic handling.

The later TS 830 was the best hybrid and they are still popular today.
