Wasn't the FT-980 in there somewhere? Prior to that the FT-ONE. I
thought the 767 was primarily a satellite/weak signal rig with its
plugin modules.
I have to admit that I didn't pay much attention to Yaesu back then.
Then I was introduced to an FT-890 on Field Day 1992 and my whole
perspective changed. I later had the pleasure of using an FT-990 and
then buying my own FT-890. Even though I have an FT-920 and have
operated an FT-1000MP and Mark V, I still have a fondness for the
890/990/1000(D) models.
