Adam,

Nice note by W5YR.  Thanks  for identifying it for us.  He clearly 
demonstrates a very important engineering principle, which is that 
one needs to understand the associated underlying physics and not 
blindly use formulas.  I often tested my graduate students by 
including such little "trick questions (as they called them)" in the 
homework and exams.  Better they foul up on an exam than when 
designing actual equipment, right?  :-)
