[Yaesu] FT857 power output-FIXED!!

Thanks for the feedback on the FT857 and power.  It seems that the Kenwood PS30 power supply I have was grounding the brown wire.  I pulled the wire out of the 6 pin jack and it now works fine (I first verified this using a friend's Astron).  Back up to 100 watts now.

Now is there a way to loosen up the mail dial tension a little?  I did check for this a little in the manual.  I only have a PDF copy of the manual, and we have company visiting for the next few days, so I really haven't had a chance to sit with the manual and fully go over it.  Having had a FT100D in the past (actually several of them), and a FT897 briefly, I am somewhat familiar already with the FT857 operation.
