[Yaesu] FT1500M on Echolink

We're setting up an Echolink node and a local ham has a chance to buy an
FT-1500M fairly cheap to use as the link radio.  

 

Does anybody know what exactly is coming out of the dataport of the FT-1500M
on pins 4 & 5 (9600 baud and1200 baud packet).  I'm looking for a fixed
level audio output that I can use for Echolink, but I'm not sure either of
these are going to do the trick.
