[Yaesu] Inrad Filters for a Yeasu FT1000.

Dear Om,

             I am looking to upgrade my Yaesu Ft 1000 (200W version previous
to 1000MP)

 

The Radio has four Yaesu Filters which are:

 

8.2 MHz IF-filters

Yaesu XF-8.2M-262-01

Yaesu XF-8.2M-202-01

Yaesu XF-8.2M-501-03

Yaesu XF-8.2M-251-01

What advice would you give on which models of Inrad shall I look at, my main
activity is SSB.

 

Or is it really worth to remove even these Yaesu Filters and also upgrade
the 8.2 Mhz IF to Inrad? Woth the diference and the cost?  Big difference?

 

Please help I am also looking at Inrad Roofing Filter, but have the
impression that would be better to add all the rest first?
