[Yaesu] Mechanical vs. Crystal filters

Please correct me if my "harddrive" has a malfunction. ;)

I think I remember seeing a picture of the interior of a INRAD filter and I 
think it has one or two adjusteble inductors. When I opened up a ICOM x-tal 
filter only fixed components was found. If I this is correct it may explain 
that the INRAD filters always sound the same on USB as on LSB as they are 
adjusted for the correct center QRG.
