Hello John,

The FT-1000D! Without any doubt. IMHO of course...

I used the FT-101ZD, FT-990, FT-1000MP, FT-1000MP Mark-V, FT-1000MP Mark-V 
Field and the FT-1000D. The last two are still in the shack, for daily 
usage.

Would not sell my FT-1000D. Not even for one of the new Yaesu rigs, like the 
FTdx9000 and the coming FT-2000.

Some say that the FT-1 was a very special one, but the reviews were not very 
confincing.
