[Yaesu] CONUS

Gotta get on my soapbox here for a minute.
I'm wondering if folks on this list selling their Yaesu equipment know what
CONUS means?  Like, are you really NOT considering selling to hams in Alaska
and Hawaii?  WHY? When you advertise a price + shipping, what difference
does it make where the ham is located?
CONUS = CONtinental United States, which excludes Alaska and Hawaii.
