[Yaesu] CAT Not responding in Mark V

I had been using DX4win to log & control my Mark V.... I started to get 
a message saying the rig timed out and was being disabled by the 
program.. I checked the COM1 setting in widows control
panel and know the serial port is working.  (Serial mouse works in it) 
Is there something in the rig that might have to be reset?  I even 
reinstalled the software to make sure.  Any help would be greatly 
appreciated. TIA,   Ron
